    We primarily work with real estate agents, brokers, property managers, stagers, and homeowners. We aim to serve any and all clients who could use our photography expertise

    Will the photographer stage my property?
    Our photographers do not provide physical staging. However, we offer virtual staging as an optional add-on.

    Is my photographer experienced in real estate photography and will I be getting the same quality of photos on your website?
    Yes! All our photographers are highly trained in real estate photography, and the quality you see in our portfolio is exactly what you can expect.

    Do you come to the house first to give me a quote?
    We do not offer in-person quotes, but we're happy to help you choose the right package based on the property's size and features.

  • What photography method do you use?
    We use top of the line professional mirrorless cameras with HDR techniques to ensure well-lit, vibrant images.

    How long does it take to photograph a listing?
    Most shoots take half an hour to four hours, depending on the home size and services booked.

    Where do you usually start when taking photos?
    We typically begin with exteriors and then move on to the main living areas and work our way through the home logically, but we’re flexible to your preferences.

    Can we move things from one room to another?
    Yes! We would be more than happy to lend a hand, just keep in mind that the photographer is on a schedule, so try to minimize last-minute changes.

    Can I change my order onsite with the photographer?
    Yes, as long as time permits and the photographer is available for additional services. We’ll adjust the invoice accordingly.

    How does it work when we are ordering multiple services?
    All services are bundled into one seamless appointment. Your photographer or team will handle everything based on the scheduled order.

    Does my photographer process/deliver the images to me?
    No, our editing team handles all post-processing. This ensures consistent, high-quality edits every time.

    Do you do any other type of photography besides real estate?
    Yes! We also offer headshots, team photos, and lifestyle photography upon request.

    Do you offer brochures?
    Our client portal offers pre-designed flyers based off of the site media for your listings. At this time, we do not provide the printing services. Please reach out if you have any questions.

    Do you give discounts if I schedule multiple homes in one day?
    We offer quarterly promotional discounts for clients who wish to book multiple shoots at once.

    Can I contact my photographer directly with any questions on my order?

  • When is payment due?
    Payment is due at the time when services are complete and the media has been delivered.

    Do I own any of the media of my listings?
    You have full usage rights for marketing purposes. OpenHouse Media retains copyright. 

    Will you upload the photos to the MLS?
    We do not upload directly to MLS, but your media will be formatted and ready for easy upload.

    The seller has made changes in one of the rooms. Can you reshoot it?
    Yes, we offer reshoots at a reduced rate depending on the extent of the changes.

  • How soon should I schedule?
    We recommend scheduling 3–5 days in advance. We will do our best to accomodate you but last-minute availability is not guaranteed. 

    What is the quickest and easiest way to book an appointment?
    Booking directly through our client portal is the fastest option. You’ll see live availability and get instant confirmation.

    How long after my order is placed can we confirm the appointment?
    Typically within a few hours during business days.

    Can I request a photographer?
    Yes! We do our best to accommodate photographer requests.

    I really liked my photographer. Can I choose to only work with them?
    Absolutely — let us know and we’ll prioritize scheduling them for your future shoots.

    The home is vacant and there are keys in my office. Can you pick them up on your way to the property?
    Please coordinate with us in advance — if the location is nearby and timing allows, we’ll do our best.

    What if I cannot be at my appointment?
    You don’t need to be! Just ensure we have access instructions and the home is ready to the best of your ability.

  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Cancellations within 2 hours of the start time are subject to a $50 fee. This is to ensure we are able to accommodate other shoots that may need to be booked.

    How do I reschedule or cancel?
    Just contact us via email, call, or through your client portal.

    What happens in inclement weather situations?
    We’ll shoot interiors and reschedule exteriors or drone as needed — no extra charge.

    My shoot is today but the home isn’t ready. What are my options?
    Let us know immediately. We can reschedule, or shoot what's ready and return later (additional fee may apply).

  • How many photos do I need?
    Most listings benefit from 25–40 photos, but it depends on the size and layout. We do not have a cap on photos (within reason)

    Can I preview all of my images and choose the ones I want?
    At this time, we deliver a full curated set based on our expertise. Custom selections are not standard.

    Can I ask the photographer to take certain shots or angles?
    Definitely! Just communicate clearly before or during the shoot. 

    What photo editing is included?
    Color correction, exposure balancing, sky replacements, and basic object removal (e.g., cords). Other more specialized editing requests may incur additional charges.

    Can you Photoshop that?
    Minor edits are included. More advanced edits are possible for an additional fee.

    Can my photographer take detail shots of important features?
    Yes — let them know what you’d like emphasized.

    What rooms and areas are photographed?
    All key spaces: kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, exteriors, plus any highlights.

    I only need a couple of photos. Can I schedule less than what’s on your website?
    Please reach out and we will do our best to accomodate you.

    How much is it for rental properties?
    We are currently working on rental packages to save our clients money. Rental packages will include a cap on delivered photo count.

    What if my photographer can't access common areas?
    We’ll do our best, but access is your responsibility. Consider coordinating access ahead of time.

    Do you bring additional lighting?
    We use natural light and professional handblend our HDR Photos, but do not bring studio lighting unless requested in advance.

    How long do you keep my media?
    We retain files for 6 months unless requested otherwise.

    Do you shoot inside closets?
    Closets are not photographed unless specifically requested.

    Can you photograph nearby stores and parks?
    Yes, we offer this service which is labeled as “Community Photos” in our shopping cart

    Will you make a slideshow from my photos?
    Yes! Slideshows are available in our marketing kit, which can be purchased as a seperate add-on but is included in all of our packages.

    What time are twilight shoots captured?
    Exterior twilight shoots begin around sunset and last 30–45 minutes.

    Can I split a package between day and twilight?
    Yes — additional fees may apply due to extra travel/time.

    Why is HDR better?
    HDR combines multiple exposures to highlight every detail — perfect for real estate.

    Do I need different photos for print and digital?
    We provide high-res images that work for both unless specific print formatting is needed.

    Can I use one photo package for 2 units?
    Each listing requires a separate package due to time and editing. Contact us for bundle pricing.

    What is the blue sky guarantee?
    We’ll replace overcast skies with bright blue skies at no extra charge.

    Do I need to provide a punch list/shot list?
    It’s optional — our photographers are trained to capture what matters most, but custom lists are welcome!

    Can my images be delivered same-day?
    We offer Free Same-Day-Delivery for photoshoots that have a start time before 12pm and have been placed 48 hours before the day of the shoot. We offer same-day delivery for an additional rush fee for photoshoots placed after 12pm but must notify our team 72 hours in advance to see availability. Please request in advance.

    Will I receive a receipt for my order?
    Yes! You will receive an invoice with the payment method and remaining balance if available.

  • Why do a video at all?
    Video helps buyers visualize flow and build emotional connection — it boosts engagement and shares easily on social media.

    What’s the difference between a walkthrough and a 3D tour?
    A video walkthrough is a cinematic showcase. A 3D tour is interactive and allows full virtual navigation.

    Can I select the song for the video?
    Yes — or we can choose one that fits the vibe and licensing guidelines. Please note, that if you choose a song and it is rejected an additional revision charge will be added to re-edit the listing video with another song.

    Can you add b-roll of nearby parks or shopping areas?
    Yes, if requested ahead of time. Travel time and availability may affect pricing.

    Can we reuse footage from a previous shoot?
    No — for legal and brand consistency, all footage is client-specific.

    Can I request edits to my video?
    Yes, within reason. One round of revisions is included. Additional revisions will incur charges.

    Can you upload the video to Zillow?
    Zillow does not allow third-party uploads. We’ll provide a file for you to upload.

    Can I share my content on my own website?
    Yes — all media is shareable on your listings, social media, and websites.

    Where should I upload my video files?
    We recommend YouTube, Vimeo, MLS-compatible platforms, or your website.

    Will I get an unbranded version of my video?
    Yes — we deliver both branded and unbranded versions.

    How long will my video be?
    Most walkthroughs are 60–120 seconds, depending on the property.

    Why is my video blurry or choppy?
    Try downloading it instead of streaming. If issues persist, let us know and we’ll troubleshoot.oes here

  • How much does virtual staging cost?
    Prices start at $30 per image. Bulk orders are discounted after 6 virtually staged photos.

    Is virtual staging misleading?
    We recommend showing both the original and staged versions to maintain transparency.

    Is virtual staging legal?
    Yes — it’s widely accepted in real estate marketing, especially when disclosed properly.

    Is the furniture scaled to the room?
    Yes, our designers scale furniture appropriately to match the room dimensions.

    What style of furniture do you use?
    We offer modern, transitional, luxury, farmhouse, and more. Let us know your preference.

    What if I don't like the final images?
    One revision round is included — we want you happy!

    What rooms should I stage?
    Living rooms, primary bedrooms, offices, and open areas have the most impact.

    Can I stage an outdoor area?
    Yes — patios, decks, and balconies can be staged. Pools can be filled virtually as well.

  • How do I know when my media is ready?
    We’ll send you an email with a download link and preview gallery.
